Our Commitment
The Human Hybrid Project is committed to making our website and member portal usable by everyone — including people with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities.
We aim to conform to the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines, the current widely-adopted standard for web accessibility.
What We've Built For
- Semantic HTML throughout — proper headings, landmarks, lists, and form labels
- Keyboard navigation — every interactive element is reachable and operable without a mouse
- Visible focus indicators on all buttons, links, and form controls
- Skip-to-content link at the top of every page
- Color contrast meeting AA standards for body text (4.5:1) and large text (3:1)
- Honoring
prefers-reduced-motionfor the 3D book mockup and other animations - Descriptive alt text on meaningful images; decorative images marked accordingly
- Form errors announced via ARIA live regions
- Compatible with major screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)

Tell Us Where We're Falling Short
If you encounter any accessibility barrier on the Services — anything that prevents you from using a feature or accessing content — we want to hear about it.
Contact: accessibility@humanhybridproject.com
Please include:
- The page URL where you encountered the issue
- The assistive technology you were using (screen reader, voice control, etc.)
- A brief description of the problem
We aim to respond to accessibility reports within 5 business days and fix critical issues within 30 days.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is not a one-time audit. We run periodic reviews and incorporate accessibility checks into our development process. Every new feature is tested against the WCAG 2.1 AA criteria before shipping.
